I just ordered the Mini-X to power some Klipsch Belle speakers I acquired over the weekend. I know the Klipsch are very efficient so I thought I'd give this a try. The Belle's (for now)will be in the same multi purpose room as my HT.
Currently running a 9.2 set up with 2 XPA-5 amps. I'll be using the Belle's for 2 channel duties only in conjunction with the mini-X.
With that being said, my question is this. Given that all of my pre outs are being utilized for HT, would I be better off using the "zone out" pre outs of my pre/pro to the amp or running my Oppo directly to the amp. I'm thinking the latter as this is my primary music source other than the PC. The PC feeds my pre/pro audio via toslink but is also connected to the Oppo via the asynchronous USB DAC
Thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated!

I used to have Zone 2 out from the UMC-200 to a MiniX then to a pair of KEF Concertos for my veranda sound. I could then control the volume and source via the UMC-200 using remote control.
