Hey guys,
I just realized something about my amp. i noticed that the fan inside the amp is not spinning at all. is that normal? i never noticed before when i first got it about 2 years ago.
doesnt it normally not spin or is it suppose to be spinning the time it is on?
not sure if it ever turns on as I always have the amp on auto.

Does the fan come on after some use or immediately upon powering up from cold? If it comes on after it's warmed up (likely) than that's how it's designed for thermal cooling. So not to worry. If it's on all the time, then chances are that you didn't notice it before! So not to worry.

The mini-X fan is thermally-controlled. When internal temperatures reach a predetermined level, the fan is triggered and will continue to run until temperatures fall below the threshold.
I've owned a mini-X since May 2012. I can count on two hands the times I've seen the fan come on. You really gotta push the amp.
