How many of you are aware that some of Emotiva goods are sold through Amazon.com? Why do you think XPR lines of amps are not being offered via Amazon? I'd love to utilize my Amazon's "no-interest for XX months" deal when purchasing some of Emotiva's reference lines because they are no longer in the "budget" range... Just a thought.

Because Amazon doesn't provide pallet packaged shipping which is a requirement for the XPR line of amps.

Because Amazon doesn't provide pallet packaged shipping which is a requirement for the XPR line of amps. I don't think that is necessarily the reason because as far as I know, Emotiva stuff sold on Amazon is still shipped direct from Emotiva. It isn't warehoused by Amazon.

On the Amazon site is shows sold by Emotiva and fulfilled by Amazon. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service we offer sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon's fulfillment centers, and we directly pack, ship, and provide customer service for these products.

Amazon definitely does provide pallet shipping, at least under certain circumstances and as of two or so years ago. I purchased my last plasma TV from them, and the TV was delivered on a pallet with scheduled delivery.
Now, whether or not they will allow such delivery as part of their FBA service(s) I have not the slightest idea.

I will say that I saw what appears to be the amazon referral cut for electronics (and maybe larger sellers like Emo get a break), but it was high enough that I think that I'd do what ever I could to buy from Emo directly.

I would not order from amazon due to the fact they now charge tax. If you wanted to take advantage of financing options what about paypal bill me later option? 6 months no payments no interest over $99 is the norm. They even have other options available just pay it off by the time 6 months is over.

I bought an XPA-2 about two years ago and paid, I think, $679 during one of their sales. They've said they will no longer have sales, and the price of an XPA-2 is now $899. That's a fairly large increase. However,I still think Emotiva qualifies as being in the "budget" range. I can't think of any new amplifier that has the specs and performance near the XPA-2 that can be bought for $899. With free shipping no less. Most things have increased in price in this economy. Emotiva's stuff is still an INCREDIBLE value.

Agreed. Why force Emotiva to take a cut and give it to Amazon? Big Dan and crew may figure that marketing on Amazon widens their customer base, but if you're already aware of the company, why not buy direct? If you wanted to take advantage of financing options what about paypal bill me later option? 6 months no payments no interest over $99 is the norm. They even have other options available just pay it off by the time 6 months is over. Ditto

I actually work for amazon picking customer orders at one of our new fulfillment centers and I have never seen an emotiva product in my FC. If is says sold by (x) but fulfilled by amazon it does not always mean that the product is shipped by amazon. Brands like mediabridge keep their products in amazon warehouses and sell them on amazon.com.
