I found I needed more triggers than my preamp supports so I ordered an ET-3. It not only arrived quickly (and works perfectly) it came packaged with four trigger cables. This was unexpected. Thank you, Emotiva!

After ordering a couple of CMX-2/6 I realized that all of Emotiva's products had graduated from the Tank School of manufacturing!!!! There was no doubt in my mind that the ET-3 would be a great piece of gear. Pass more cool-aid please : )

I am considering using an ET-3 to pass on the trigger and possibly use the other two triggers to power fans. The fans use .15 amps (1.8 watts).
Will the ET-3 supply sufficient power?
Thanks,
Rich

The three trigger outputs are 12V, at 150mA each.

The three trigger outputs are 12V, at 150mA each. Since 150mA = .15 amps that should work but it is tight. Thanks, Rich

Will the ET3 input trigger recognize 5 volts to trigger the output triggers?

I agree, The ET3 is a nifty piece. I used one for a couple years without any issues. With the XMC-1, it has all the trigger outputs I need. So, it is packed away now.

I bought a ET-3 recently on the forum and just bought three more tonight from Emotiva. They are nifty little gadgets that help the start up without searching for separate remotes.
