Hi Keith: I am trying to follow-up on a brief conversation we had on another thread in late April, about the possibility of using the Sherbourn LDS 2 150 as a headphone amplifier. In response to an initial failed attempt I had made, you had this to say: emotivalounge.proboards.com/post/634431/threadAfterwards I followed up with the following questions: emotivalounge.proboards.com/post/634510/threadbut I suspect you did not return to that thread, because I did not receive any answers from you. Now I have got a few weeks break from work, and I would like to use some of the free time to complete the adapter for my headphone (I actually have two of those amps which I want to use for the same purpose in two different set-ups). You suggested that it would be better to bypass the headphone TAP I was trying to use for best results, but then, since that was meant to serve as a protective resistor/attenuator to help me control the amp's volume (as opposed to degrading the sound), I was wondering whether you thought there was a better way to use resistors/attenuators with the direct connection method you suggested, or whether you thought the attenuation was not necessary at all in this case. I also had some follow-up questions about how to build the adapter. I'd appreciate it if you could address those questions, when you get the chance. Thanks. in advance Patrick
