Trying to figure out a easy solution for a new problem i created, I was controlling all my two channel music with a USP-1 but my indoor speakers were being powered by my HK AVR 630 in direct mode with the sub woofer triggered by it, now that I have entered a XPR-2 the only way I see is to trigger it with the USP-1 and by doing so if I run my outside speakers I have to manually turn off the sub or it will play in the house.
Any ideas on how I can simplify this as little changes can baffle my wife. Do they make an inline RCA switch that wont interfere with the sound quality? Seems like every time I upgrade I create a new issue. Any ideas would be welcome.

1) Any halfway decent PASSIVE RCA switch shouldn't hurt the sound - especially of a sub. 2) Rather than turning off the audio signal to the sub, or the mains power, you can also turn off the trigger signal itself. Any little switch, even one intended for a lamp, or one intended to install in the dash board of a car (don't get a lighted one), could be spliced inline with the trigger cable. That way it certainly won't affect the AUDIO quality at all. Since a trigger is only 12V at about a tenth of an amp, pretty well any switch can handle switching it, and it's safe to work with. I am in the same situation as you. If you have a good idea, tell me!

The trigger is internal in the sub, I guess it picks up a incoming signal from the RCA input to tell it to become active. So I guess I need to scout an RCA inline switch to have near the amp.
as I tell my wife it's just one more button as I get that death stare...........

Thanks, was wondering if it would be ok , won't arrive till next week. Its funny Emotiva can get your stuff to you in like 3 days and Amazon can take 5 to 7 days sometimes.
