What is recommended for video/music blu rays and dvds. i want to make a back up copy of my dvd audios since they will sound better? thanks. For example i want to make a back up copy of the audio from the dvd from Led Zep's mothership.

I use MakeMKV. I has all the functionality that is needed. I don't remember is there was a cost involved though.

Used a program in the past called DVD Audio Extractor, worked like a charm. You can download and use it for free for 30 days and buy it if you like it. dvdae.com/

I like DVD Audio Extractor. The new versions work on Blu-rays as well, which is handy if you have Blu-ray Audio discs and a media storage/replay system that can handle hi-def media.

DVDFab can also do this and is a much more capable program with a better user interface. Give it a try... www.dvdfab.cn/CD

There is also a program called DVD Ranger that purports to remove Cinavia copy protection from already ripped discs as well as download streams. Pretty cool stuff... www.cinexhd.com/CD
