Can I connect two separate amps at the same time to my USP-1 preamp? One to the full range L+R outputs to be used with the LP/Sub connection, and the other to the High Pass L+R outputs? I wouldn't have both amps on at the same time of course, but would like to use two different sets of speakers for differing functions. Thanks in advance.

I have done this in the past and I did use them both at the same time. I had the hi pass connected to an XPA-2 and low pass to a sub in my lounge room and the full range connected to a UPA-2 for outdoor speakers, sort of like a zone 2. Dave.

Just to clarify, whilst you can connect two amps to the different outputs on a USP-1, you should NOT connect two different components to the inputs of one amp. Even if you use the RCA for one and the XLR for another, the balanced/unbalanced switch is not designed to completely isolate the two inputs.
This was posted by Lonnie a long time ago.
Cheers, Dave.
