OK I am in for it....
I signed up for a Geek Wave 32 with the Dual DAC option. I am thinking that this will make a nice audio server in the car for all the driving I do. (Almost 30k per year locally)
Last week for what looks to be a very nice upgrade to the iPod in terms of sonic quality. The fact that you can add storage is a big bonus, buy small and if you need it you can add a SDXC card for more storage. I got in early on the 32 and paid the lowest price.
They are fully funded (almost 1,000%). I realize that this is a big gamble, but honestly I bought my first iPod without regard for sonic quality. This really can't be worse. Also figure that it will be a nice audio server in my home office for the occasional time I use it.
Regards,

It has been very temping. Almost hit buy a few times.
Each time I realize that I don't really want to carry around a second device. That my phone gets me all the portable audio that I need... And no amount of high def will improve my experience sitting on an old train.
That being said it is still very tempting.
