Yeah - that was you for sure! Better be careful...sunburn "down there" isn't good! LOL! Mark I WON'T ask how you know that... LOL! Well...true story...I went to the Indy 500 back in the 80's when the infield was wild. A group next to us built a tall scaffold over their pickup. Way before the race started, they climbed up on top and started drinking. The guy up there would yell "show us your...(body part)" as women passed by. One guy was drunk as could be by 8 AM and little by little started removing clothing in offers to woman passersby for them to do the same. By the time the race started at 11 AM, he was fully nude and passed out in a lawn chair for the whole race. He was bright red EVERYWHERE by the end of the race. A few years later, I was at a party and told the story including details on the truck and where we were. A woman who was present said "OMG, that was my boyfriend at the time! He was in agony for weeks!" True story... LOL! Mark

Bracing for Francine! Praying for all those in her path. Prep now or get out soon. Both are viable options at this point.

Hello friends, so far the storm has given me modest rainfall but I’m hours from the coast. The eye of Francine will hit the coast sometime this evening and is moving east which is good for me but I’m still worried about a few loved members and friends further south. Mo doubt some will get a lot of rain and others will get wind and rain. Winds at this time are 100 mph.
I pray for everyone in Francine’s path, especially those in southern Louisiana and Mississippi. It appears they will take the brunt of this hurricane. There is a safe haven if any members need it here, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Let us know how your doing and report after it passes. God Bless

We were lucky in Baton Rouge. It’s 11pm and the eye is ashore near Hammond, La. According to the radar, the worst has passed. We never lost power, had maximum winds of 25-35mph, and have not received much heavy rain.
Since the eye was to our East, we got reduced wind speeds, less rain, and lower probability of tornados.

I'm glad you got spared...I hear other parts of LA got a lot of water and a lot of power outages.

Hurricanes are quite quirky - 30 miles south of us, they had trees down all over the place and are still without power.
