My new XPA-1Ls will arrive on Tuesday and I am trying to figure out if my speaker cables will work due to the extreme spacing of the binding posts. Can someone please tell me what the gap between them is? Is it 12" like the XPA-1?
Thanks.

The picture of the posts on the back the XPA-1L should be 9" between posts since the POS is 3" closer to the NEG than the XPA-1.

Holey Moley... did you buy 7 XPA-1L's thats some serious rack space haha I made my own cables for my towers and center for my XPA-1L's, I made them specifically for the spacing, I used 2 lengths of 10g Belden wire for each cable making an internal bi-wire cable, cable and techflex is from Blue Jeans Cable and used locking Banana ends from Sewell off amazon, the space between the posts is indeed 9". The other way to connect your cables to the binding posts is to unscrew the binding post and insert the banana jack in the side hole and then tightening the binding post back down onto the banana end. Here's a quick pic of one of my 1L's

I'll probably just pick up some bulk Belden 5T00UP, Audioquest X-2, or Kimber KWIK and run bare wire for a bit. If I like 'em, I'll finish 'em off with boots, techflex, and connectors. I really wish I understood Emotiva's design decision regarding the binding posts spacing, but I guess I am stuck with it.
