My first step into pro-audio...
Setting up Stealth 8's with a DAC into a computer im assuming you output from the DAC with a balanced XLR into the speakers, then input I will probably just use USB from the DAC into the computer.
Is this on the right track?
Thanks for any replies

And is USB input the best way to go? Or are other inputs better?

I myself prefer SPDIF, but you have to look at all limitations of SPDIf compared to USB on your equipment. some will only do a certain resolution etc. So look at all your specs of the computer and DAC for the best possible resolution.

so the DAC i will be using will be the Stealth DC-1. I read that all inputs support the same frequency and bit rate. The music i will be playing will be FLAC converted to WAV, at the highest frequency/bit rate i can find hopefully
