This might be a stretch but it would be nice if some of the lounge members lucky to be in attendance could help us nail down a lot more information about the upgrade plans for t he two elephants who would be in the room, even if no-one were to talk about them: i.e. Dirac and Atmos   Dan said they are working on all the "back room" stuff for Dirac, documentation etc, so they have all of the support in-place when it is officially released in the next couple of months - maybe even 45 days. The XMC-1 has feature after feature!! Very cool! I think the two channel demo for Dirac has changed my opinion about not using correction for music, it's amazing how well it works for two channel music! I was shocked. Only another couple hours before I win the XMC-1 raffle! Fingers crossed! |

Mark The Dirac is done and Emotiva is completing the support documentation.a USB stick will be sent to XMC owners that will update the XMC automatically. Prior to update, the settings can be saved and reloaded after update. The settings are in a separate memory area on the XMC and as such can be saved totally separate of other data. I have to go make space in my car now for when I win the XMC-1 raffle. |

My wife went from don't drive an hour for the raffle to if it's 1500 with the discount for life, save yourself the trip and just buy it. I will have to oblige. Good thing too, I was going for the home theater Dirac demo that Lonnie promised. Regardless, it looks like it's a great event. It certainly was last year. They know how to treat their customers right at those events. |
