Hi! I bought a XPA-200 preowned and I have owned it for about a year now without fault. A few days ago it just turned off to "sleep mode" and when I tried to turn it on again it made a fast clicking noise and the led indicator that usually turns blue keeps blinking orange. Has anyone here experienced something like this? FYI, I live in Sweden and we have 230V ac. I'm just guessing here but can it be the voltage detection that's faulty?
I hope you understand my english =)

I've seen an xpa-1L power supply unit fail with a situation where the power detection to 230 fails...the indication is it drops to 115 (iirc) on the rear leds. Perhaps blowing a fuse...I forget.
Its not to difficult to swap it out and Emotiva will normally ship out a complete power supply if thats what they deem is failed to you for you to either fit yourself if you are comfortable to do so or get a friend to assist if you have one that is able to help.
I'm in singapore and do many of the Emotiva repairs here with support of parts being sent to me or the owners for local installation. A local repair shop should be able to help swap out the faulty part for maybe 30-60 mins labour cost if you don't have anyone knowledgable in diy electronics...even a computer tech should be ok to do it at a pinch.

That was a quick reply! Thanks for that.
The led on the back that indicates 230V keeps blinking aswell. I should be able to switch out the power supply on my own i have some experience with electronics.
The only issue is to get a hold of a replacement part.

If I were you, I'd give them a call(1-877-EMO-TECH) between 8:00am and 5:30pm CST, and go from there. If you can't call try e-mailing at support@emotiva.com

You may want to make sure you don't have a shorting RCA interconnect or a speaker cable accidentally touching each other

I have unplugged the RCA cables and the speaker cables and still gives the same problem. Thanks for the input though.

Hey Wiz, is this what the recall was all about?

I don't think that was a recall one...that was a few resistors they were wrong IIRC in one batch maybe causing some buzzing at power on
