Always best to inquire and make sure there's no concerns with that 'odd channel' experiance. My XPR-5 was a VAST improvment to my speakers and HT system, and continues to operate perfectly after 2.5 years of everyday use, and twice a week heavy-duty movie use at near reference levels, so far, (knock on wood...OUCH!). Spoke to Scott at Emotiva about the amp going into protection mode. He advised me to connect it to my system and speakers and play it for a while. If it happens while in use I am to contact him. I will try that out and report back. Really looking forward to this. I just upgraded from an XPA -5 to this. I'll post some pictures when I get home and set up!! |

The amp worked perfectly all weekend. Played it loud and long for some tine. No issues what so ever. I'm really impressed by the power and build quality of it!!!!
