Hi every one, does any one owns the XPR-2 has hit issue. I just order a new XPR-2 and XPR-5 and both arrived in perfect condition. However, the new XPR-2 is warmer than the new XPR-5. And actually, the new XPR-=2 is as warm as my krell (class A) which I used in the past. Luckily, my home theatre is in my basement so the hit issue is not serious as others. But any way, I still want to find out any issue regarding the hit. Thanks

The XPR-2 gets quite warm. Most likely it has some healthy class A specs. Not sure how it compares to the XPR-5.

My xpr2 runs at 135f I contacted emotiva about this and they said it's normal, they also said if I was really concerned I could send it back to them and they would adjust the bias on it to have it run cooler but with me being located in Canada I opted to just get a fan for on top to pull the heat out.

Hey Patrick, my XPA-1L's run quite warm in class a/b mode as well, I have them in a cabinet but have a fan to use if I need to, I never use the class a and just leave the switch on class a/b as class a gets really warm, I wouldn't worry too much about it, seems the norm from what I have heard around here, how's that system sounding with all that XPR goodness now Chad

And this is why Emotiva needs to rebadge the Sherbourn C-12, they could sell a ton of them at the rite price point!!!!
