I recently purchased a pristine set of Infinity Gammas. I will be using a Krell Fpb400cx on the top end and was thinking about a pair of Xpr for the lower end (bass) Would this be a good application for these Amps.

The XPR series can really provide the needed current demands for this type of speaker.
I would give it a try (30 days to get your money back) so you only have one way shipping to gamble with. (assuming you are in the CONUSA)
May I suggest you try them up top also?
You may be surprised.
