I personally hope Emofest returns to the all-familiar Franklin setting. I loved meeting my Emo bros and sises, the Emo staff and the live bands.

Yeah, I am 20 miles as the crow flies from the home base. I try to console myself with how much fun many of you in the rest of the country had who had never been to an Emofest. But then this little voice says "But what they attended was not an Emofest." I will do a better job of meeting folks next time. Here is hoping the year goes fast.

I just put on my Kansas LP and crank up "carry on my wayward son" to take me back to last year's Emofest. That was one hell of a show, and I was on the front row!
I really do hope for a return to Franklin next year. And maybe my step daughters career will take off and she'll be performing for us all!

Wife and I were lamenting not being in Franklin for the Labor Day weekend. Hopefully, the Emofest will be reinstated and the emo-gang re-united for great music, food and beer. Been going to Emo-fests since the very first one...6 years ago maybe?

One add to my original note. I think taking Emofest on the road is a great idea. It's always good to mix it up a bit as it were. Clearly a much better chance to meet and make new Emo fans who could not easily get to Franklin. I went to the one in Atlanta and it was great. And so with my Atlanta Emotiva on the Road attendance this year I have not missed an Emo event yet. That said I still missing seeing all the folks that come in from all around when they can. It will be great to head back to Franklin whenever it's hosted there again.
