Hi bub,
Did you know that Ray (oc123 on Audiogon) is the person I purchased my Yaqin MC-30L from. It seems he hasn't been around on there much lately. Not that I've been trying to contact him. I just check there frequently to see if he has anything new for sale. I think the prices are going to go up, because everything else there is pretty pricy. I'm so glad I decided to purchase mine when I did. I think he had one more Yaqin amp a deferent model from the MC-30L that he sold and since then nothing. I got the Blue Glass power tubes when I brought mine. Haven't rolled the preamp tubes. Snacker says he likes the Yaqin MC-30L better than the BADA DC-222. I'll say this if you have the funds, and a chance to get one don't pass it up. Even though mine spends most of it's time in in plastic in the cabinet it's so sweet when I bring it out to play.

Hey jmasterj, I lost track of Ray Siu back around the turn of the year. I think we discussed 540 with the blue glass and like 40 shipping.. Easy to talk to. He would set up a time to call and I could set my watch by it. There's another guy in Ill. selling the Dared line..http://app.audiogon.com/users/jpzhou/feedback. I thought it might be Ray but haven't been in touch.. Ray was in Libertyville. This new guy is in the bustling metropolis of Naperville. ( pop.35). Ray did have the best prices. And I understand about the heat. It's been 96 in the shade down here in Fl. Heat index around 103. Got to love that dry heat. Haha..

jmasterj, thanks for your detailed and very helpful response (on Sep 1) to my questions. The 728A looks like a good option for my system. The lack of a remote control is not a factor, and I can alter the sound from, as you say, solid-state like to tubey. Now I'll be looking for the most reliable shipper. Thanks again.

cecilg,
That's good I think mine took about two weeks to get here, and through US Customs. Hope you like it.
