Hey guys I was just wondering who here has gone to one of these Emotiva Road Shows? I missed the one that they had yesterday in the Bay Area. What kind of speicals deals do they usually have on their road shows? Is there any announcements on new products or speakers?

Here is my report from last weeks show in LA, we didn't hear much about yesterday's show but I'm sure it was pretty similar. EmoLA Thread

Here is my report from last weeks show in LA, we didn't hear much about yesterday's show but I'm sure it was pretty similar. EmoLA ThreadAs per AudioHTIT, the Santa Clara show sounded pretty much like the LAX show as described in the link above, though certainly not every detailed question was asked. Given this show was only a week following the LAX show I guess there is only so much new news that could have come out. Big Dan and crew were great hosts! Although I'm not on the list for the XMC-1, the more info that came out about its capabilities, including the subtle little features and conveniences, the more impressed with it I got; they really did their homework on usability and features, and are still listening to our comments, and continued to emphasize its modular nature, including the relative ease with which a field board change could be done to update to a major future feature, such as HDMI2.0/HDCP2.2 or Dolby Atmos, if a hardware change was needed. They emphasized they intended the XMC-1 to have a very long life. Umm, there will be several new DAC products coming out, with different form-factors, including for the mobile market. I will be very interested to see how their new speaker line comes along in the next year or so, as it will have different finishes, not what I thought it would have (which was domineering black). I became an E-Club member and ordered a DC-1 which is solidly in their lineup with at least one companion product (extra analog inputs and a phono stage) coming along, to bring it up to "preamp" status. Oh, and I won $100Emobucks in the last raffle ;-)
