I received my XPA-5 yesterday and I am absolutely impressed with this unit and EMOTIVA. I connected it to my Denon 2307CI and this baby is the sh*t, after listening to the Denon prior to the arrival of Fed-Ex my ears were amazed. I listened to a few scenes from Wall-E BD, a standard audio CD and then I sat back and watched Roger Waters "In the Flesh" live. I have watched this DVD several; times with my previous systems, but this takes the cake. The sound was clear and crisp, the instrument detail is amazing and if I could have gotten closer to my television, I felt as though I was at the concert.
I experienced a minor set-up issue with my Trigger switch, I called EMOTECH and explained the trouble I was experiencing and had the opportunity to speak to the owner himself,(wish I did not forget his name) very quick in resolving the situation (Denon trigger settings). I had other questions relating to the XPA-5 and the rest of my system and they are all answered with full explanation. Customer service is top notch and the products are amazing, I am already having thoughts of replacing the Denon with the UMC-1 when it hits the streets.
Hats off to the complete EMOTIVA team!

I remember the saturday I first found Emotiva on the net, and the next day that I said, yep, I want, I need, an XPA5. I too have the RF'7s, and man they command the room when the music is flowing. I have had the XPA5 for 2 months now, BUT I have been having problems with my DVD player. (Samsung). I am finally getting a new player (Sony), SO, soon I will be able to play over 2 dozen concert DVD's that I haven't been able to audition yet. It's going to be a concert!

Yes, they certainly do! And they are great for movies as well, especially combined with my two RSW-15's!

Also I forgot to mention- as soon as I get Dean G's new x-overs they will sound even better. With all the other things on my list right now though, I'm not sure that will happen any time soon. One can always dream though, right? RF-7s ROCK
