ocezam, they remind me of Bob Carver's Amazing Line Source speakers. I auditioned these with LCSeminole and jlafrenz at Axpona a couple of years ago and they sounded amazing. However the footprint was rather anti-WAF, IMHO. The array column was fine and slim but the stand... that was rather large and needed the speakers to stick out into the room... a lot. Yours look great! Kudos to you!

Bohlender-Graebner actually has a version of this driver that is sized perfectly to slip into the Carver Amazing Line Source when the original ribbon driver fails. These are very pricey drivers but they really do sound incredible. Thanks for the kind words.

Wow... As you can see from my signature, I am also a DIYer for speakers. This is some of the finest DIYers I have seen. Congratulations! Thank you. Aesthetically, I’m not really happy. Originally I was gonna go with dark red paint and have the wood front a dyed red, like a guitar. But I let my CNC machine guy talk me into going walnut front. I think it clashes with the red paint. I should have gone with black paint if I was going with a wood front. Oh well, I’m not in the mood to tear them apart for a repaint. This is similar to what I had in mind:

Yeah, I agree that that finish would have made a real punch.

Phenomenal. If they sound half as good as they look, you have a winner on your hands. When do they go into production ?
