So my discussion is going to begin with how all have dealth with there Emo gear having to be sent in for repair or warranty?
would like to hear about the likes and dislikes of: How long did repair take? How was customer service? Did they Email you when it was being repaired or ready to be sent back to you? Were you happy with repair? Did they not fix it first time? Did they wind up replacing item?
I ask these things as I am in the process of waiting for my Stealth 6 to be repaired or replaced? I sent it in just about 2 weeks ago,I have called once a week to check on it to see whats going on,but they keep telling me they haven't even looked at it yet. I have been a customer for 4 yrs now and have numerous components from them,I luv them all and have had no issues with anything. Just purchased these Stealths a little over a month ago, only got to listen to them for 2 weeks before the tweeter blew and shot sparks from it! Just seems to me like it is taking to long just to look at or are they really that busy with repairs and that much of there equipment has issues?
Thanks

They usually have a pretty quick turn around time. Unfortunately with the time it takes to ship there and back you can add like 6 days to whatever it is they've got. I would call and ask again.

Yea I did,it is only 2 day shipping from me,but for some reason it is taking awhile?I always heard good thiings about there turnaround time and quick service, but not in my case.not sure if there is an issue with stealths that they are not communicating too us.
Not really mad or anything, just wondering why so long, everytime I call they tell me 11-14 days? Business days.
just sucks I have to wait this long.Didnt think it would tske this long.

Well I have had two amps repaired by them. The 1st a mini-X was back in a little over a week. The 2nd (an UPA-2, I think) took a couple of months to get back. Meanwhile I had moved and told them to ship to my new address. Unfortunately it went to my old address, but Emotiva corrected this with UPS as soon as I called and I got it at my new address the next day.
Both repairs were excellent the first time they were fixed. I've had an XPA-5 for over 3 years without any problems. Runs every day and it a great amp.

I just had an RSP-1 repaired. It took almost 6 weeks from shipping it out, to getting it back. One week delay was my fault as their email went to my junk folder. They did a good job though and the price was fair. They communicated to me well
