I used it with my Yamaha 1800 (140 watts) but less when driven.
The XPA-5 made a marked improvement. My speakers were/are power hungry and I guess starved by the Yamaha AVR alone .
Speakers are of the McIntosh LS360 line. 4ohm
I am still not sure how much power I have added, but it sounds much better. A big sound and more dynamic!
I might buy more Emotiva amps when I see 5 channel driven independent power tests.
Best deal going for an AVR upgrade!
