It's hard to know what is new for you not knowing what is old for you.

The finest recording I have ever heard and a very cool piece of music is called Remote Galaxy on the 2L label. It's a Blu-ray, audio only, with a 7.1 channel mix, 5.1, 2 channel, and various levels of resolution to choose from. It's really amazing.

Already suggested, Pandora is great. Enter a genre and it will find that related music as well.
