I have an XDA-2 and my computer connects to it just from time to time, today it was impossible to connect it and computer showed messages like it is connected but can not function correctly, I installed and uninstalled the drivers and the only device that can works is the original realtek audio, any suggestion on how to make the XFA-2 work. I do not have any problem using my Dac Magic or Audioquest Dragon Fly, I am using Windows XP, thanks.

The XDA-2 usually works fine with Windows XP - although options like WASAPI won't be available (WASAPI mode was only added for Windows 7 and up). The DragonFly (and I believe the DacMagic) will work with UAC1 drivers that Windows installs automatically. The XDA-2 will ONLY work with the drivers you download from us (you can get them off the XDA-2 page). If you let Windows try to automatically install drivers - it will install the wrong ones - which won't work. (You'll get interesting error messages and the install will fail. No harm done, and merely installing the right drivers and then rebooting should fix it.) You should try re-installing our drivers.... If the drivers are already installed, they'll offer to uninstall. If this happens, say OK to the Uninstall, then REBOOT the computer after the drivers are uninstalled, then reinstall them. If you're still getting "device not recognized", then you should try another USB port on your computer, or a different or shorter USB cable. Any good quality commercial cable under two meters should work well.
