You could also check out the LHLabs dacs. bit.ly/GeekPulseThey have a few that might get into the above class of DACs. In particular, the Soul and Pulse Xfi. |

Not XLR, but two days ago I have placed my order for the new Eastern Electric MiniMax DAC Supreme. I will make a new thread when it arrives to let you guys know how it sounds.

Does the NAD M51 offer the features you seek? Tremendous sound. thats that was already suggested but it doesn't support DSD I can't find my previous post maybe it didn't go through I got the PS Audio DirectStream there's a photo in the new gear thread ;o) |

I'll second checking out the Wyred4Sound DAC options. Had my early version DAC-2 three years. Very dependable, with options. Good company to work with. 5-year warranty.
They had a twenty percent price off option through today on certain purchases.
