I pulled some of my old DTS disks out and I forgot how good those 20 bit 5.1 versions can sound. I listened to The Eagles, Sting, Joe Cocker, Diana Krall. They sound as good or better than some of the hi Rez stuff I have. If I remember, DTS did a great job of making sure they were well mastered.
Anyone else have the same experience? Enjoying my system on a Saturday morning before the kids wake up...

I too have a handful of those. I haven't listened to them recently, so will do that soon to enjoy reliving them!

I have only Queen-The Game and I've heard Sting's Brand New Year from DTS. Both excellent recordongs/remasterings?...with Sting's being more suited to this format IMHO.

It's has been in the high anticipated list for a long time for many of us. I could be wrong, in fact I'm hoping that i'm wrong. DJoel |
