Hi everyone!
My XMC-1 lost the advance settings in the menu. As we know they should be in the set up submenu, but somehow they are gone. I can not do factory reset or make an update simply because these are in the advance settings. Any suggestions?

Try power down from the rear switch, unplug from the outlet, press standby button a few times to discharge the caps, then plug in and restart.

You may have locked it out. To unlock it, follow the procedure in the manual:
Setup Lock
Setup Lock is used to prevent the XMC-1’s configuration settings from being inadvertently
changed.
Selecting None will leave all configuration settings unlocked.
Selecting Advanced locks the Setup Advanced Menu - which will then no longer appear on the
Setup Menu. This prevents anyone from inadvertently changing any settings on the Setup
Advanced Menu, which include resetting the XMC-1 to factory defaults.
Note: UNLOCKING the Setup Lock requires access to the Setup Advanced Menu. When the Setup
Advanced Menu is locked, you may still access it by pressing the Menu button on the front panel
WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE FRONT PANEL ENTER BUTTON.

Thank you very much. I did not figure that out with the set up lock. That fixes the issue.

I too have lost access to my advaced settings. I tried your suggestions and - No luck. I'm still stuck without the advanced menue options.
