UPA-700

The UPA-700 will soon be an extinct 7 channel power amplifier. My dilemma is weather or not I should purchase one now before emotiva's stock runs out having less than twenty available or wait for the newer version of the 700 which is slated to make its debut in the 2nd quarter of 2015. What changes should we except? Will it be worth the wait? Or just a matter of a cosmetic upgrade.

This is my humble opinion here, and just that..I would try to get it now if possible, so you can enjoy the movies and music for the holidays.

I'm also going to say it will be cosmetic mostly, if any updates will be subtle, incrementally small!

I agree with djoel, if you need an amp buy it now and enjoy it. The differences in a G2 will likely be minimal, and with the great pricing going on now if you eventually did want something different you could sell it for a good price used and buy something new in the future.

Are the UPA-700s sold out?

The link from the sale page fails and they aren't listed under amplifiers any longer. The only UPA amp listed is the UPA-200.
