this may sound stupid BUT! it's the little things that they really remember and love.
if your bathroom doesn't have a heater, or its gone out and you haven't fixed it yet, well!,,,, one of those tower heaters to heat up her Royal Throne on a cold morning means so much,,,,,sounds sill but true.

Replace the shower head that's been there for a year or two,,,,, my Mrs. Went on and on for a month how nice it was,,,,,it's the little things!
well, at least after so many years, the little things that show you listen and care about them and their comfort.
A remote controll that will turn off and on the bedside lamps, she just loves this one. No longer has to get up and turn the light off if I'm not in bed yet.
