XMC-1+ Stealth 6 VS UMC-1+ Airmotiv 6 quick thoughts

Having the UMC and airmotiv 6 for a while now, I loved the sound I was getting.
Then I got the XMC and Stealth 6. Dun dun dun.
Hands down the XMC and stealth is a clear winner. The holographic high end sound I keep reading about is finally achieved with this setup.

I played the last of us on ps4. The volume is on a nice loud comfortable setting. The gunshots sound so real. Enemy AI sometimes shoots at me out of nowhere and surprises me everytime. There is more oomph with gunshots, whether its hand guns or rifles or shotguns. The game itself is not scary, but the level of realism is amazing. Ellie was behind Joel when she was trying to whistle but was just flapping the lips, I thought it was a zombie behind me and was startled. Or when Ellie is sneaking behind with Joel and steps on glass, the sound comes from the surround speakers and freaks me out thinking a zombie is right behind me. The point is how enveloping the sound can be. I am in an immersive experience.
Another example is explosions. A zombie ran out and surprised me, as I was pulling my gun to shoot it, a wire bomb trap is triggered and explodes killing the zombie. The explosion startled me and sounded fantastic.
I wanted to play the demo PT (Silent Hills), but with the level of realism this setup delivers, I would crap my pants. So no PT for me.
Andrea Bocelli - Love in Portofino DVD
This dvd is absolutely fantastic, its like I'm sitting in the perfect sweet spot. The quality of sound is as if I was there. The stealth 6 simply disappear. I agree with a previous post where someone commented that the stealth 6 is in a different league compared to the Airmotiv 6. BIg difference with great recordings.

As if I was there, 'nuff said.
Quick note on ERC-3. In this setup, the ERC-3 was leaps and bounds better than the ERC-1. Excellent source material sounds closer to studio recordings. Glad I took the chance. But most of my cds do sound bad, thats the only con.
