Hi all. Last week I received and installed my first Emotiva gear, an XPA-5 and a UMC-200. They replaced a Yamaha mid level AVR. I am real happy with the clean and powerful performance of these components in our modest HT setup! I'm looking forward to learning more about all things Emotiva and just hanging out here when I can. Thanks to Emotiva for providing this forum for enthusiasts/customers.

Welcome to the Emo family! .. Any feedback as to how long emotiva take to ship? Just purchased the xpa-5 this afternoon and curious .. Week or so? Prob no luck expecting r his weekend lol ? Also - silly q, for the surrounds what gauge speaker wire suggest? I purchased a few pairs of emotiva speaker wires n the 7 wire rca cables that will get me the front and centers . |

Shipping is usually quick. I've had stuff delivered in 2 days from TN to FL. So there's every chance you'll get your amp by the weekend. |

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm sure that most here can identify with the excitement I felt last Friday when I watched the XPA-5 run its self check and start and the thrill of hearing it take charge of the music it was being fed. Only since 2008 have I been able to indulge (somewhat) my desire to have quality audio and visual gear and a real home theater system again. Prior to that time I was forced to concentrate on other priorities such as saving for retirement and paying for a home. I thought that I had been priced out of high (or even mid end :)gear. Just a few weeks ago I discovered Emotiva......I'm a happy camper now. I'm not completely new to the party, having owned Carver amps and preamps during the eighties before other priorities became important. I'm really happy to be here and I think I'm an Emo customer for life.
