Hi,
I created a little Plugin for Eventghost (http://www.eventghost.org/) to control the Emotiva XMC-1 through network (UDP).
It offers only some basic functions to send commands to your XMC-1 (no notifications, no emoping etc.).
You have to configure IP and Port (7002 should be alright) of your XMC-1 because I haven't add "emoping" yet (and I am not sure I will because python is driving me crazy ...).
All "+n/-n commands" send by default +1/-1 and can't be configured. If you need +/- n with more then "1" you can use "SendCommandEx".
It's opensource and under GNU GPL v2 like eventghost itself, so if there is any skilled python programmer out there, feel free to add functions, change or modify the plugin like you want to.
