I had a professional ISF calibrator(ChadB) come last Sunday and calibrate my Samsung 4K flat panel. While I was only satisfied with the SDR settings before the calibration, afterwards I was highly pleased with the outcome. Once ChadB finished, (5 hours later), I realized the reds were no longer blooming, the greens became what I expect to see in nature and skin tones are as if I were seeing someone in person.........and all of this was the SDR part of the calibration. All I can say about the HDR part, is WOW, the color accuracy is quite stunning and yes the improvement from an HDR/UHD blu-ray movie is quite apparent. Now that my Samsung 4K had a firmware update, a couple of months back, which added HDR10+ and HLG, I look forward to seeing this content in the future. For those of you that haven't experienced a professional calibration, I recommend if you can afford it, to at least having it performed once if only to satisfy your curiosity in seeing a difference from the DIY discs like DVE or Disney's WOW as compared to a professional performing an ISF or THX calibration. To me, a night and day difference.

Money wisely spent my friend! Most people really donโt know what true colors look like once you get them in front of a monitor. Often way too much blue and just outright unnatural lighting and color.
5 hours is about average to do a proper calibration and there are places and menus in many tvโs that canโt be accessed unless you know the Calibraters Secrets. Ive witnessed first hand 4 calibrations in my home and each brought a stunning realistic and accurate picture to my tvโs.
Side note, one tv was calibrated twice, once originally and a second time 4 years later after they replaced my screen which was covered under an extended warranty. Yep, the calibration was covered too! ๐๐
Another calibration was free due to my status with BB at the time, they no longer offer that service for free.
I actually paid for two calibrations, and when I purchase my next generation TV, Ill do so again! Money well spent IMHO ๐๐ปโค๏ธ๐

I'd like to hear anyone's impressions of a before and after ISF calibration on the current LG OLED series 6 or 7.
