I suppose it wouldn't have killed me to read all the forum descriptions before my first post over in the WTB forum.
Anyway, hello Emotiva Lounge. My name is Michael and I have a problem - I am a poor college kid with no money and have lived in a perpetual state of "upgraditis" since I was about 12. I've been running a system built entirely around a pair of Klipsch RF-3 II's since that time - and the brainchild since then has been a Yamaha receiver of some sort (been through the 530, 730, and currently on a 2500).
In going back to school this coming August, I've decided to retire my 2500 - and a friend recommended I look at Emotiva - particularly the Fusion 8100. While the price is out of my range, I keep coming back to it...so I'm hoping to figure out a way to get ahold of one.
Hmmm...what else...I've never been good at introductions on the net...I suppose bragging about my systems would be a good route - though I'm not sure it compares to what some of you all have.
My personal system like I say is powered by a Yamaha RX-V2500, and I still am using those Klipsch RF-3 II towers (they're sentimental) . I have two RB-3's as heights (that will be coming to school with me in August), two RS-3 II's as back-surrounds, two RS-42 II's as side surrounds, and a Polk DSW PRO 660 sub. My big project this summer was converting the rest of the house to Klipsch speakers as well, so I have a fair share of the Reference II series in the house (actually save for two Jamo Cornet 175's and the subs they're all Klipsch Reference speakers (one sub is a KSW-15)).
Anyway...um...hi.
See you guys around!

Need to save $$$? E-mail Emotiva about the availability of B-stock Fusions.

Yeah, I called yesterday and the person I talked to indicated there were none. I'm not opposed to refurb or B stock...even used. The net seems starved of these, but people the reviews are awesome. Might be what makes me keep coming back to it. Guess I'll have to keep trying.
