Hi,
I have an issue with the XDA-2 Gen 1 and Windows 8.1.
When I try to install the driver (download from the XDA-2 GEN 2 website) it stops with an unknown error. When I try to install the driver via the device manager, I can see that the error is an invalid Hash Value.
What can I do? I download it several times, but the download size ist always the same and every time the same error occurs.
Hope you can give me advice.
Greetings from Germany Honie

You need to "disable driver signature enforcement".... You will find instructions for that in the Windows 8.1 Notes section of the instructions... After you do that, you will need to uninstall and re-install the drivers (since Windows will have broken them). (Run the Installer once, let it uninstall the drivers, reboot your computer, then run the Installer again to reinstall the drivers correctly.)
