Hello Ya'll
I am looking at a pair of Mirage OMD-28 for a 2.0 setero set up, using xda-2/xpa200. If you own or have owned these speakers can you please chime in your opinion of these speakers.
Thanks

Thanks I used to own a pair of the 28's and they're excellent speakers. They like lots of power; I had XPA-1's driving them. If you like listening at loud volumes I think the XPA-200 might be taxed. Given enough power, they put forth balanced, room-filling sound and you probably won't need a sub. They also need to be placed away from the wall. The front of mine were about 4' from the wall.

True, I used to be part of the mono block society. A pair of XPA-1's driving the fronts and an XPA-3 driving the other three speakers. But then I got on a downsizing/simplification kick and it's all history now.. Those things were great but they just took up too much space.
