So... I've been ripping a lot of my old albums to Flac.... I've been pretty happy with the results, and even though there's the occasional pop and click I'm not discouraged! Most of my albums are in VERY good condition (always been kinda OCD about my music). One rip in particular has caught my attention! Last weekend I ripped ELO's "Out of the Blue". I purchased this album 30+ years ago but had forgotten how frikken good it was... I don't have a digital copy (and not sure if one exists), but the production quality of the vinyl is outstanding. The songs are awesome, and I just can't seem to quit listening to it... Not sure it would be to everyone's taste, but Daym this is a good album! Here's a Youtube clip of one song from the album (trust me, my rip sounds MUCH better )... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0sWUXtVJLk

Keith mentioned the Tascam DA-3000 when asked about digitizing vinyl in post sometime ago. It seems that Steve at Decware has modded this unit and made it even better. When funds are available this is the unit I would like to get to digitize my vinyl. It may be the best unit out there for this, but it also does a lot more. www.decware.com/newsite/ZDSD.html
