I'm trying to get my DirecTV remote to control the volume on the XMC-1, but DirecTV doesn't have the XMC-1 remote codes in their database. Does anybody know if any other AV equipment, regardless of maker, shares the same IR codes as the XMC-1? PS - No, I don't want a Harmony remote.  |

I know you say your don't want a Harmony, but...they are awesome...even the lower models.
I have heard the UMC-1 or UMC-200 share many of the codes with the XMC. But, I would just get a Harmony.

Directv got a bunch of codes for Emotiva but no XMC-1. Bummer.

Mark +1 - The UMC codes work if they're available. But I doubt any other manufacturers' codse will work. |

+1 on this. Just barely have my xmc-1 setup 3 speakers and just kind of in the room VS setup... but... I need 2 remotes now  Anyone been able to get the anynet+ control the volume? |

I refuse to buy a Harmony remote. I am waiting for Neeo to release their remote which will destroy the Harmony.
