In the latest Nashville "I'm lost between right and wrong" at 8:10 seconds in the scene where Jeff Fordham is playing golf in his office and talking about wheatgrass, by the TV are an Emotiva XSP-1, an ERC-2, and an XDA-1 stacked!

I find that funny. A DAC, CD player, and a preamp. Where's the power amps? Active speakers? OK, maybe. Still cool that they are there though. Which generation are they?

I've been looking for Emotiva products in each episode especially the recording studios where I thought I might see a Stealth 8 or so. We are only up to Season 2 episode 17, so I've got a while more to wait.
Cheers Gary

@oceazam : he had active speakers on either side of the tv. And bafflingly a passive center channel all the way in the corner. Not sure what that was doing!

I'm surprised that Emo isn't bragging about their products being on the show again. That seems cool.

Speakers look like maybe KRK VXT8?

I've owned KRKs before - They're not bad, but the Airmotivs are better, IMHO.

With a 2 channel setup why would they even have a center channel?

I know I wouldn't. Who does these sets? Where are the XPA-1s?

Djoel I never noticed that until my wife pointed it out! Really the most confusing thing is the center speaker. What's it doing there?

I know I wouldn't. Who does these sets? Where are the XPA-1s? They're probably on a side bookshelf... hidden... You know, to power the random passive center speaker. Or something.

Saw the beginning of an episode of The Odd Couple with Matthew Perry last night and he once again had Martin Logan speakers in his room (he must like these considering they also had Martin Logans on the set in Friends). But what I noticed most was the speakers were separated by like 25 feet, at totally different angles, and had tons of stuff between them. They were very obviously just there as props as no one in their right mind that shelled out the coin for Martin Logans would place them like that.
