Does anyone see any reference to being able to set different gain levels during Dirac testing to account for widely different speaker efficiency in the new FW/Dirac ?

That will be in the Dirac Full software for calibration before running Dirac. It's not in the firmware upgrade if that's what your wondering. |

It's probably best to wait until Monday for the Dirac Full Version - that way there will be technical support. Just saying  I'll take the firmware when I get home...thank you. |

Does anyone know the specifications for the HDMI upgrade for firmware 3.0? Is it 4:4:4 YCbCr capable at 4K/60Hz, or does it do some chroma compression to achieve the 60 Hz throughput?

I would imagine its ok for netflix 4k streaming ; an owner could confirm bryan - if one hasnt already somewhere in the forum.. . Otherwise the chipset is hdmi 1.4b and apart from the 24/30 frame upgrade to 60p ; hdmi.org says these vvv are the colour spaces 1.4b is compatible with A new 2.0 chipset will certainly be needed for the 10bit HDR dci p3 colour space that 4k bd will bring ; but thats another story  |
