Whatever floats your boat - if u insist is Lando Prince there is nothing I can say to change that. Just like the Xmas thingie whereby it can be any year. I hope is this year but it also not wrong in saying 2017/18/19/20

And you may or may not know what is tafkap anyway I will let it pass.

At the end of the day what I can see is XMR-1 have zip progress report. The management seems to have shied away from announcing news about XMR-1. Action speaks louder than words, but silence sometimes are deafening

Emotiva is much quieter about all product developments. Why?

Because people get upset over progress and then draw conclusions over silence.

We're not going to hear much until it's ready to ship. Emotiva has never even hinted as to a release date. They learned from the XMC-1

Date is one thing. The list price another worry I have - still remember the bait worthy 999 list price of xmc-1. It is listing for 2500 now. Also the xmc-1 is not as upgradable as originally promised, not at this stage anyway.

So I was kinda hoping to hear news about XMR-1 technical prowess or sound quality or features. Just something to chew on.

sorry for the long absence My main reason on speaking about the power @ 240 vac, because i live in a country with 240 vac with 10-20 amps going to the power outlets.. thus the reason i was asking about voltages....

Well Big Dan did say concurrent with the XMC gen3 so I would assume 1st quarter of 2017. I think that they are using the xmc as a test bench for the whatever it is called. I guess not RMC or XMR1.

So what is the name of my next processor? I want to know what to Google for new updates.

I have to take back about the part of xmc-1 upgrade ability, with the recent announcement of the upgrade options of hdmi and DTSx and Atmos, xmc-1.

Glad to see that. I was surprised you had even posted that when you did as at that point they had told us about the video upgrade and hinted they had an idea for Atmos. In any case, glad to see you retract it.

with the atmos addition to the xmc1 i suspect as they go up in channels to cater too the 11.x line of gear we will to see integration's of atmos and other technology catering for....

I know they will update the HDMI, which is what have been expected for a long time. What I mostly refer to, at least before the annoucement, was the upgrade for things like newer codecs support of atmos DTSx n auro3d
