I have been working on calibration of my system, one of erm6.3 speakers (center) has what appears to be something rattling internally when a 120-160Hz tone is played. Anyone have any idea what could cause this? The other two I have don't exhibit this behaviour.

Loose crossover? Something that was glued in when manufactured? Until you open it up you won't know what is causing that rattle. If the speaker is still under warranty you could send it in for repair.

There is a 5 year parts and labor warranty on these speakers. I would see if you have any warranty still, and send,it in so Emotiva may fIX it for you.

Have you simply tried to remove the magnetic grill? For me it has fix rattle noise on mine when I done Dirac.

Turns out one of the screws holding in one of the larger drivers was loose. After talking to support, they had me remove the front baffle and it was obviously the problem since it was sticking out 1/8th of an inch. Thanks for the responses.
