Thats an easy question. Poke around the forum, most everyone shares a lot of things besides our love of all things audio and/or video.

Beautiful pictures on one thread, love for our sick on another!
Friends, old and new, rationally,,,,he,,,,he,,,,he,,,,, discussing our passions!
Support and encouragement for all types of things we know little and a lot about!     
Sharing music we've never heard of and would never stumble upon.
answers to questions, solutions to problems, they can be found here, and without belittling comments!

Ive broken bread with a few members, I wouldn't trade those meetings of camaraderie and fellowship for just about anything.
Wonderful friends for life.

Why so much love you ask?,,,,,,,,,because it exists here on this forum and someone should say it out loud. IMHO.

Hi Nick

You have summed up my sentiments exactly, even though I am not a prolific poster ..... Or not even a regular one, I enjoy reading and learning from all the family members out there. It is also good for me considering I'm so far away in Australia to know that I can get a chuckle, or sage advice even companionship just by logging onto the forum. I hope one day to get to an Emofest so I can meet most of you in the flesh and thank you all personally for your kindnesses to each other and the avid 'listeners' like me.

I agree totally. The fact that we all share a common interest in audio or video only adds to the camaraderie. I enjoy seeing the updated posts of what everyone is up to and enjoy the input of both fellow members and management from the company itself. This forum covers a lot more than just the equipment ownership. I am happy to be a part of this forum family. Thanks for having me!

Well, some of us can be prickly, and I'm as guilty as any on that count. But I must say that I admire and respect the knowledge of many on this Lounge (even though I may strongly disagree with some of them). I'm wrong sometimes, and I admit it. I'm overly stubborn when I think I'm right, and although I don't apologize for that, I am rereading my posts before hitting the "Post Quick Reply" button to avoid antagonizing others.

I've met some wonderful friends via this Lounge, and I'm sure that if I had the opportunity to meet more of you in person, I'd meet even more amazing people!

Yes, the Lounge is a social place (much like other Social Media sites), as well as a place to focus on audio. I've learned a great deal about this hobby from others on the Lounge, and I'm grateful for the valuable knowledge received.

So thanks to those of you who educate me, inspire me, and even contradict and occasionally infuriate me - I'm better for the experiences.

For sure it's long way to Tennessee David, one of the States I haven't made it to yet. We were talking about going to Emofest last year, but they didn't hold it at Emotiva, so we passed. This year, around Emofest time, we are going to the UK. So it looks like 2016 might be next opportunity. As well as Franklin, I feel the need to visit Memphis and Nashville and of course Lynchburg.
