Ceiling speakers require somewhat different designs due their vertical (face down) mounting and the resultant hanging of the cones. With Atmos, Auro, DTS UHD etc there is a need for ceiling mounting and the question came up how would Airmotives and/or Stealths handle being used as ceiling speakers? Has anyone tried it? Technically would it be OK, perhaps a question for Keith?
Cheers Gary

For ceiling mount stealth or airmotiv, I would want ones which can flush-mount.

I personally don't think I would attempt to mount this type of speaker from the ceiling. Especially in a face down orientation as this is not what it was designed for. In-ceiling speakers would be a much better option. You could also avoid running electrical to the ceiling as well.
