Any opinion from current or past users of cocktail audio gear would be appreciated. I am looking at acquiring this unit.

I looked at the cocktail. It seems pretty neat. What I didn't like about it was that you have to add memory to it. And I was worried about how long the disk drive would last ripping an entire cd collection. I have never listened to one to make any judgments on sound quality. If you get it please give a review.

I don't care for the amplifier section, I was looking into using it as a source, after ripping my cd's to it.

Check out the Olive One(T2 memory) very interesting Seriously considering adding one
I had purchased a Cambridege Magic with nothing but problems. I got my $$$$ back. Others may have better results
