I am a new to digital music but wanted to try DSD downloads from Acousticsounds, so I found a Sony HAP-Z1ES for sale on Audio Mart. I am use to solid media like cd,s , Blu-ray, and vinyl. When I get the unit I will let you know what I think of it. I have been reading the reviews of the dsd downloads and they are very positive. I am retiring at the end of the year and will plenty of time to transfer my cd collection to the Sony.

What bluray player do you have?
some can play hirez files from a hard drive.

Well I received my player yesterday and just listened to some of the sample music on it. the DSD tracks sound terrific and I cannot wait to down load some of my own music onto it. So far so good.
