Been a couple years now, and all we have are the sound of crickets chirping...
Are there any updates, any news at all on the Tube front?

According to big Dan we are having a podcast on Monday or Tuesday with supposedly lots to discuss. If tubes aren't covered there at all it may be time to start thinking that they abandoned the project. I'm still looking for an affordable tube pre-amp with remote control and ht bypass and am hopefully that Emotiva comes through with that. I can't find it elsewhere.

Not necessarily. We know there was a line of tube gear in the works but very little concrete info on specific tube products.
Hope springs eternal, my friend. Tubes could very well be shown at Axpona.
I have not listened to the podcast myself but with the increase in price on the XMC-1 and the development of the XMR, it does show Emotiva is beginning to target the higher-end crowd. Tubes would make perfect sense in that regard.
I, of course, do not work for Emotiva so I basically know absolutely nothing and this is all conjecture on my part. But I can still dream!

If you guys want some good tubes I am thinking about selling my BAT vk-30 TUBE Preamp...I just have to give it a ittle more thought...
