I'm all for Global warming. Here in Canada it means warmer summers, longer growing seasons, less snow shoveling, the polar bears have moved further north... We've been increasingly enjoying the benefits over the past decade and I love it. Our prairies are getting the rainfall that used to fall further south. Gonna be a *bleep* for the folks living in California and the Mid-west as the drought and dustbowl gets worse. I see we're going to have to tighten up our immigration policy. Sincerely /b U Wouldn't it be great if we could REALLY control it!
ONE THERMOSTAT FOR THE ENTIRE EARTH
As long as God has controll of that thermostat,,,,,,,,,people would NEVERTHELESS agree on any single/range on the dial!!! Stop me when I'm lying!!!

all I know is man can and does change his environment and there are many of us allover this planet so That's the long term key IMO. The U.S. population has about doubled in my lifetime, globally closer to triple. How long can we feed, clothe, house, and employ with this kind of growth. Our economy likes new people at the bottom for cheap labor, but with the drought food will be getting more expensive, and water may just not exist for large groups of people. Discussing population isn't popular, I guess like gun control no one likes the idea that they shouldn't have as many kids as they want.

You ever watch the news channels in China . People walking around in breather masks all the time in some areas with smog so thick you can cut it. Hmm why would I think it affects our earth? Do we really need a scientist to tell us that pollution hurts us and our earth. Look around when u r driving and see these boxes at busy corners that monitor air quality . Why? I saw the news the other day about a major pesticide corporation that used some chemical in a hotel room and the guest in a different room got badly sick and are in the hospital. Now they been using this for years before it was banned but it's still in our atmosphere isn't it? Sure small amounts now that may not effect us as fast as it did this family but what will this chemical that's been used for years do to us in the years to come, what role Will this play in our declining health as we get old, or will we pass it off as old age? But no , it's just crazy to think we should be good stewards !

Is climate change real? Yes. Yesterday it was 66, today it's 50. The climate changed. Can we put the argument to bed now?

The natural resource is a crucial component of concrete, and it is coveted by developing countries like Morocco, Singapore, and, most especially, India. www.wired.com/2015/04/adam-ferguson-illegal-sand-mining/

You ever watch the news channels in China . People walking around in breather masks all the time in some areas with smog so thick you can cut it. I grew up in the L.A. area in the 50's and 60's, there were days during recess in elementary school or when we played after school that my lungs would burn from the smog (other kids too). LA got serious about cleaning up the air and today it's much better than when I grew up, a good example of making a positive improvement. China can do it too, it won't be cheap or easy, but the lessons learned in cities like LA can help.

May I suggest a giant wind tube running from smog filled American cities directly to nations with opposing view points.
